Vista crashed during Microsoft Office install, after the reboot, get an error message "Sidebar failed to start, Windows is checking the problem, Send error report, Close, etc.". I can't get it to fire up again. Any suggestions or should I re-install?

Sidebar Error
Open Taskmanager (right click Taskbar > click Task Manager) > check under the processes tab to see if the Sidebar is still runing. If so, right click the process and click "End Process". Restart the system, open Control Panel
double click Sidebar. --

I also have a weird problem with the sidebar.
After I installed the Vista Business edition on 5 computers, everything worked fine including the sidebar and I can add gadgets. But after a few restarts the sidebar stopped working and it did not give an error and is not running in Task Manager.
If you try and restart the sidebar, nothing happens and no error comes up. If you try and install a new gadget now it says "Unspecified Error" and nothing happens afterwards.
Any advise?
